Storms. Sunshine. Drought. Gentle rains. Floods. Mountain tops. Valleys and pits. Dead ends. Obstacles. Crossroads. Unexpected events. Adversity. Wrong turns. Right turns.
These are all part of growth and LIFE on planet earth!
They are what form and shape us into vessels of honor to be used by God for the plans and purposes laid out for each one of us before the foundation of the world.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. Ephesians 1:4
In this section you will find an inspirational garden of real live blooms—-women, young and old…er—who have come through personal challenges to find themselves gloriously blooming on the other side.
I pray their stories will inspire you that God uses everything in our lives to form & fashion unique blooms that burst forth in radiant glory of becoming and being and doing all He created us to do and be.
There are no “perfect” bloomers.
Our so-called imperfections are what make our blooms all the more beautiful, simply because it will be obvious that it is GOD who is working in and through us, and that it is HIS light and life giving the blooms their unique beauty and energy.
It’s never too early and never too late to bloom.
And please don’t think that “blooming” means becoming well-known, popular, high-profile, top-of-the-class, a best-selling author or CEO of a company, etc. These positions of grace may or may not happen in your life. They may be part of God’s plan for you.
It is just as important and glorious to be the behind-the-scenes person—the mom, the teacher, the cafeteria cook, the crossing guard.
No position or job or career is “more” or “less.”
The only thing that is important is that you discover your gifts and talents and that you USE them to experience and share the Love of God.
We ALL need each other’s love, encouragement, support and gifts.
Be planted next to your sisters in Christ Jesus and BLOOM!
Remember that as we bloom—share His Love and promises using our God-given gifts—we are releasing the fragrance of our God to a hurting world—to those who believe and to those who do not…
For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 2 Corinthians 2:15
